Roadside Assistance

Roadside Assistance

Lincoln’s Roadside Assistance was created to help ensure your peace of mind, pleasure and convenience no matter where your travels take you. With Lincoln Roadside assistance, you’re never alone.

Always on Call

When you own a Lincoln, peace of mind isn’t just a privilege—it’s our promise. Lincoln Roadside Assistance is included with your new vehicle for the original owner, giving you 24/7 support across Canada and the continental United States. Whether it’s a flat tire, empty fuel tank, or lock-out situation, help is only a phone call away.

What’s Covered

Here’s a look at what Lincoln Roadside Assistance offers:

Towing when your vehicle becomes disabled, to your selling Lincoln dealer (or nearest Lincoln or Ford-Lincoln dealer) if you’re within a certain distance.

Battery boost if your battery won’t start.

Fuel delivery — up to 10 litres of fuel to get you moving again, in emergency situations.

Flat tire assistance (spare tire installation, etc.).

Lock-out assistance if your keys are lost, broken, or accidentally locked inside your vehicle.

Other roadside services including labour at the disablement site, and service calls.

Eligibility & Duration

  • Roadside Assistance starts on the warranty start date (with 0 km) and is available for the original owner of a new Lincoln.
  • If you purchase a used Lincoln, you may still be covered if the vehicle is still within the powertrain warranty period (6 years or about 110,000 kilometres, whichever comes first).
  • For subsequent owners, coverage aligns with the remaining powertrain warranty period.

Important Notes & Limitations

  • Some services are limited by location or distance (for example, tow distance restrictions).
  • Parts, storage fees, and certain labour (outside the roadside incident) are typically not covered.
  • Off-road use (unmaintained roads, logging roads, etc.) usually falls outside what’s eligible.
  • If you need to use a service provider other than Lincoln Roadside Assistance, you may be reimbursed up to a maximum amount, provided you follow the claim process.

Traveling & Emergencies

If your vehicle becomes disabled more than about 160 km from your home due to a mechanical failure or collision, you may be eligible for Emergency Travel Expense Reimbursement. This can include lodging, meals, transportation, or rental car costs, when such coverage applies and isn’t already handled by insurance.

How to Get Help

If you need roadside assistance:

  1. Call 1-844-665-2007 — Lincoln’s toll-free Roadside Assistance number.
  2. Be ready with your VIN, current location (address or nearest intersection), and vehicle details (make, model, colour, licence plate).
  3. If you used a third-party service, keep your receipts and follow the claim procedures for reimbursement.

Lifetime & Transfer

  • The coverage is not part of the warranty itself, but it is an ownership benefit that spans the life of the vehicle for the original owner.
  • Some coverage may transfer to subsequent owners but is generally limited to the remainder of the powertrain warranty period.
