Driver-Assist Technology
Driver-Assist Technology
Lincoln’s driver-assist features are built to make your drive more confident, more connected, and more secure. Using a combination of radar, camera, and sensor systems, Lincoln’s suite of technologies watches the road around you, helps detect potential risks, and intervenes when needed. These driver-assist systems are supplemental—they don’t replace your attention, judgment, or need to control the vehicle—but they add a layer of active support many drivers appreciate.
Lincoln Co-Pilot360
Experience a package of standard driver assist technologies that help make each journey a confident one.

Rear View Camera
Take the guesswork out of knowing what’s behind you. The Rear View Camera transmits an image to your centre screen with helpful guidelines and audio cues to help you back into any spot confidently.

Auto High-Beam Headlamps
Auto High Beams automatically brighten your headlamps and dim them again when other vehicles are detected. When the system detects rain, snow or fog, the high beams will turn off to give you a better view if something lies ahead.

Pre-Collision Assist With Automatic Emergency Braking
Using camera and radar technology to help scan the road ahead for pedestrians or vehicles, the system can provide a collision warning and automatically apply the brakes if you’re unable to take corrective action under a certain speed, helping you avoid or lessen the severity of traffic accidents.

Blind Spot Information System & Cross Traffic Alert
Lincoln’s Blind Spot Information System can help identify and alert you to vehicles entering your blind spots. Cross-Traffic Alert can help detect traffic approaching from either side of you while reversing.

Lane-Keeping System
A dedicated camera monitors road lane markings to detect unintentional lane drifting, alerting you and assisting with increased steering torque to help get you back on track.
Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Plus
Available for Lincoln Aviator, Corsair and Nautilus, Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Plus adds even more advanced features to make your vehicle a joy to drive.73 Features vary by model, and may be available for Navigator without this package.

Active Park Assist
Active Park Assist can guide you into tricky parking spots, and aid with parallel parking and reverse parking in perpendicular spaces as well — if your vehicle gets too close to an object, forward and side-sensing alerts will warn you.

360-Degree Camera
A series of built-in cameras provide a bird’s-eye view of your vehicle, helping you maneuver in tight spaces with confidence.
*360-Degree Camera is not included in Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Plus for Aviator.

Reverse Brake Assist
With Reverse Brake Assist, drivers can feel more confident when in reverse. When backing up, if a driver does not notice an obstacle behind the vehicle via the back-up camera the system will automatically apply the brakes to help avoid a collision.
*Reverse Brake Assist is not available for Nautilus.

Evasive Steering Assist
Cameras and sensors work in tandem to help keep your reflexes sharp. If your Lincoln detects a frontal collision is imminent, it can brake for you. If a collision is unavoidable by braking alone, you can activate the system by initiating an evasive maneuver. It can then provide the appropriate amount of steering torque needed to avoid the vehicle in front of you when braking alone won’t do the trick.

Forward & Reverse Sensing Systems
Sensors in the front and rear bumpers can detect objects within six feet of your vehicle and sound an alert to help you avoid a collision while parallel parking or getting out of a tight parking spot.

Adaptive Cruise Control
Set the speed and distance you’d like your vehicle to maintain. In heavy traffic, the system can brake and accelerate as needed. Adaptive Cruise Control uses both Forward Collision Warning and brake assist.
Additional Features

Adaptive Headlights
Adaptive headlamps increase visibility and confidence in low-light situations. They’re able to cast light into corners to illuminate any surprises along the way.

Post-Collision Braking
Should a collision occur, your vehicle can slow itself down to lessen a potential secondary impact – an effort which may minimize frontal damage if you’re unable to.

Auto Hold
Give your foot a rest. When engaged, the anti-lock braking system in your Lincoln allows you to remove your foot from the brake pedal without the worry of your vehicle moving.

Distance Indication & Alert
Set the space you’d like to maintain between your vehicle and the one in front of you. Should you get too close, your Lincoln will alert you to reduce speed to maintain distance.

Rain-Sensing Wipers
As soon as your Lincoln detects moisture on the windshield, rain-sensing wipers activate, adjusting their speed to match the intensity of rainfall or snow.
